Student Night Out: Monday, July 28^th

The student night out will be at Gröna Lund (Sweden’s oldest amusement park! Join us for free entry, rides & even a concert (band: Blues Pills)!

We will be meeting on Monday July 28th, 18.30 in room A1 at the Waterfront congress venue to pick up entry tickets and walk over to the amusement park.

If you do not wish to walk, you may use the tram. Take the 7 tram in the direction of Waldemarsudde from T-Centralen to the Liljevalchs/Gröna Lund stop (16 min, 45 SEK)

Please note that bags (even small ones) are not allowed into the Gröna Lund concert section. They do have coat check, but please be aware.

* Note: We have secured entry for the first 350 students who registered for the student night out. A waitlist has been made for all the other students who expressed interest during registration. Arriving in Stockholm: Arlanda Airport to Stockholm

* Note: The Waterfront Congress venue is located next to T-Centralen (Stockholm’s central station)

Arlanda Express (costs One-way: 340 SEK; Round trip: 640 SEK)

- Conference members get a 20% discount! (makes it 256 SEK one-way)
- They offer group rate for up to 8 people (120 SEK per extra one-way ticket)
  - If travelling with a group of over 25 people, you can email them to get a different group rate customerservice@arlandaexpress.se (Subject line: Group Trip – [number of people], [dates])
- Also offer discounts for under 26 years old and over 65.
- Easy, convenient, but expensive
Airport Coaches from FlixBus cost 79 SEK
- Book from Arlanda Airport to Cityterminalen using the app or booking link.
Airport Coaches from Flybuss cost 129 SEK
- Go to Stockholm-C (Cityterminalen) if you are staying near the congress venue
Commuter rail 40 “Älvsjö” at Arlanda Central Station
- If you buy a single ticket, it is 190 SEK
- If you have a week-long SL transit pass, you must buy an extension that grants you passage to Arlanda. The Arlanda extension is 147 SEK

Getting Around Stockholm

Download the SL transit app (Apple or Google) to store your metro/bus passes. Alternatively you can also use your credit card for pay-as-you-go.
